The College has partnered with Parchment to manage the ordering, processing, and secure delivery of your official student transcript.

Critical Steps Before Ordering

  • Verify records: Check your records to ensure all grades, certificates, or degree awards have officially been posted. Requests cannot be held for pending grades; if you order too early, you will have to pay for another one.
  • Know your Student ID: If you do not know your ID, call Enrollment Services at 540-868-7110. Missing or wrong IDs can delay your request by up to a week.
  • Use your enrollment name: If you have officially changed your name, you must provide the name you used while actively attending the college.

Official vs. Unofficial Transcript

  • Keep paper copies sealed: Hard copies are official only if they remain in their sealed envelope. Opening the envelope makes the transcript unofficial.
  • Check requirement types: Confirm if you need an official copy, as an unofficial version is often sufficient and free.

Payment and Fees

  • Transcript fee is $6.75
  • Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express are accepted forms of payments.
  • Additional expedited delivery options and fees are listed on the Parchment website during the process.

Processing Times

  • Standard orders are processed within three business days from receipt of the order, except orders placed on weekends, holidays and peak times during the semester.Electronic Delivery 鈥� The fastest method, usually delivered within one business day after the school approves and releases the record.
  • Standard Printed Mail: Typically printed and sent via USPS mail withing three business days of approval.
  • Expedited Shipping: if you need a hard copy quickly, you can pay an additional fee during check-out to ship via FedEx Overnight.
